Infinity Pool in Kuala Lumpur

The Best Infinity Pool in Kuala Lumpur

Infinity Pool in Kuala Lumpur

I was lucky enough to stay in the coolest infinity pool in Kuala Lumpur. How’d I manage that? Well, let me tell ya.

Since I’ve started traveling I’ve connected with a ton of people from around the world and one of them happened to be a girl named Jessica on Instagram. She was super kind and answered a crap ton of questions I had about Kuala Lumpur including the question – “Where is the cheapest infinity pool in Kuala Lumpur?”

She answered: “I stayed at the Dream Home & Castle in the Sky for only $17 a night.”

$17 a night? I was down. I booked the hostel on the spot.

Once I arrived to the hostel, it was a little confusing. That’s because the infinity pool is located at the top of a large apartment complex that consisted of 3 different buildings. The buildings were called “Block A,” “Block B,” etc. Each block had hundreds of apartments. Every apartment is owned by different people. Multiple people in the complex rent out their rooms which gives everyone the opportunity to stay and experience the coolest infinity pool in Kuala Lumpur based on your budget and wants. Once I figured this out, I decided to gather up all the different places you can book in this building that will allow you access to the rooftop pool.

A Full List of Places You Can Book Under $30/night With Access to the Infinity Pool in Kuala Lumpur:

1) The Dream Home & Castle in the Sky ~ $15/night

The Dream Home & Castle in the Sky is one of the cheapest I’ve found for this building. This is the only place I actually stayed myself while traveling and let me tell you – it’s not quite like the pictures.

I booked this room with little expectations because all I cared about was getting to the pool on the roof. It turned out that I had full access to the pool, the place had decent wifi and it had a great view of the city from my bed. BUT – it also wasn’t the most professional or fanciest place. It’s not bad by no means, but it is 100% for the minimalistic travelers out there. By the way… it’s set up like a hostel so it requires sharing a room with about 3 other people. Be prepared for that!

2) X2 Infinity Pool KL@Near City Center,KLCC ~ $25/night

X2 Infinity Pool KL@Near City Center,KLCC is an Airbnb listing. Unlike the hostel above, it’s actually a private room so you don’t have to worry about sleeping the same room as strangers with this price. I didn’t personally book it but based off the pictures it looks better than what The Dream Home & Castle in the Sky ended up looking like. Plus, the reviews look great!

3) (B) Private Room in 3BR Apartment with KLCC View ~ $30/night

(B) Private Room in 3BR Apartment with KLCC View is another Airbnb listing that I’ve found. It’s another private bedroom that looks basic yet very decent. The pictures also show a view of the Petronas Towers from the kitchen. Dinner with a view, nice!

4) Minimalist Studio in KL Regalia Suites ~ $30/night

Minimalist Studio in KL Regalia Suites is once again an Airbnb listing (if you haven’t caught on, Airbnb is a great place to check for cheap prices). This listing allows you to have the entire apartment to yourself which is great. Also, like the title says, it’s very minimal. A bed… a kitchen… a bathroom… and a view! That’s all you need, right?

Extra Listing (A Little More Pricey):

5) Tuxedo KL ~ $50/night

Tuxedo KL is a little more expensive but the cool thing about staying there is not only can you get a view from the pool but this apartment complex also has it’s own private balcony that allows you to see views of the skyline (including the Petronas Towers)! It is set up as a hostel though so be prepared to share a room with others.

This just goes to show that you don’t have to have a million bucks in order to stay somewhere amazing. Have you ever stayed somewhere with an amazing view for crazy cheap? Tell us about it below!
